Angels Among Us

Each year, Fusion employees contribute to better the lives of children struggling with pediatric cancer, as well as their families. Angels Among Us began as a grassroots organization that now supports the majority of children with pediatric cancer who are treated in Nebraska (even if they reside in other states), and Nebraskan residents receiving treatment out of state.

Our annual event sees Fusion employees donating time and money to provide these kids with good cheer, and their families with support.

Multiple Sclerosis 

In 2018, we took our passion for helping those with multiple sclerosis to a new level. Fusion hosted their first "Drive 'Fore' MS" company golf tournament that raised $12,000 for the MSforward Gym in Omaha, Nebraska, which specializes in refined and supervised fitness programs for individuals with MS.

Fusion employees donate to participate in the fundraising golf tournament, and 100% of their contribution is donated to the gym, along with Fusion's company match.

Hereditary Cancer Foundation 

One of our favorite October traditions is our annual Bowling for Boobs event.

Much like our golf event, employees pay $35 each to receive a t-shirt, snacks, and an afternoon off to bowl with their coworkers.

Every dollar our employees pay goes directly to the Kamie K. Preston Hereditary Cancer Foundation, which provides genetic testing for individuals who are not able to have it covered through insurance but have a history of cancer in their family.

Habitat for Humanity 

Getting involved to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity has been a meaningful experience for us over several years!  Fusion employees spend their day helping rip out floor beams, put in windows, and measure and hang the drywall. Habitat for Humanity builds healthy, affordable homes to help families break the cycle of poverty by providing stable home options.

QLI  

QLI treats individuals with a wide range of brain and spinal injuries, and we are honored we get to spend time with their residents. Whether serving breakfast, helping with the annual Thanksgiving celebration, or wrapping presents for the holidays, we are thrilled to see our bond continue to grow.

The Stephen Center 

Every month, you'll find us shopping, prepping, and serving a meal for the Stephen Center, a local homeless shelter in Omaha. This volunteer activity has been a part of Fusion since the very beginning and the number of memories we have made there are too many to count!
